Take a moment out of your busy life to pause, reflect, and give appreciation for your life, family and health, bounty of food and beauty of nature. Ground yourself by honoring your ancestors. Unseen underground, they are your roots continuing to support and guide your life. Remembering them will nourish the entire tree.
Optional: Bring offerings of flowers or vegetables from your gardens, make your loved one's favorite dish, and/or join us in offering flowers to the altar in appreciation. (Children's Prayer Book)

Church Activities:
Mochitsuki (making traditional rice cakes for New Year's at church, also joining in presenting the annual community event at Portland State University), Senior Appreciation Day, Rose City cemetery clean up, Mother's and Father's Day brunches and BBQ's, Sunday School Campout, and booths at various festivals for fundraising and outreach. CONFERENCES, CAMPS, REGIONAL SEMINARS & FTI
Come join in faith and fellowship hosted annually by a KCNA church. Pre-Conference camps include: Family camp (0-12), Youth Camp (13-17), Young Adult Seminar (18-25), and Spirituality Bridge (adults). Faith Training Institute (FTI) seminars are for those who wish to gain a deeper understanding of the Konko Faith and is a 2 year curriculum comprised of 36 classes (8 per weekend session in summer and fall).
