Come Honor and Appreciate your Ancestors and Beloved spirits. Offer prayers along with a rose in their memory. Many opt to bring offerings of their loved ones’ favorite foods or drinks to offer upon the altar. Potluck luncheon afterwards.
A celebration of the season of harvest, this Grand Ceremony is held in honor of the Founder of our Faith whose physical form returned to Mother Earth on October 10th, 1883. We acknowledge and offer gratitude for the title and workings of “Ikigami” or “Living spirit” he attained in his lifetime and his virtue which continues today, to all of us.
